MY BRILLIANT MONEY-MAKING SCHEME!

I am not good at drawing actual canon characters. I realize this. I am, however, pretty good at sketching up pictures of Original Characters, I think, and it's kind of fun for me to fudge around with.

Now, I talked to a mortgage banker, and she's pretty sure I'm a solid candidate for an FHA loan, which means that my down payment when I buy a house will only be 3.5% - 5%. THIS IS PRETTY AWESOME. But it also means that I need to save up about $5,000. While she said I could pay that with a gift from a family member, there's no way in hell that anyone in the family has that kind of money, nor would I accept that as a gift. I'm going to start saving like crazy, much like I'm doing now with my taxes, because it turns out that I'm pretty good at this.

But a little boost can't hurt, so! Rather than asking for commissions and then stressing out when I get into a slump or whatnot, here's what I propose.

I will draw a character for you. With my computer being dead, I can't scan it, so I'll just send it through the mail in a flat envelope. I will also ink and color this character with colored pencil, unless you ask me not to. Give me all the details you can about what you'd like, though I'll warn you, quality decreases if I end up drawing anything more than below the shoulders because lol hands are hard to draw unless they're fists and straight lines like swords and complicated things like weapons... Well, anyway.

Then you decide if it's good enough to warrant money. So no pressure, I won't sit there going C_C_ expecting cash to fall into my palm, especially if the drawing ends up sucking, so if that happens it'll just be a fun present or something, I DUNNO.

But yeah. E-mail me with what you'd like, preferrably to my work address (eve at stofoco dot com) so it's guaranteed not to fall into a spam box. We'll see how this works.

And no pr0n stuff, natch, but I seriously doubt anyone would be requesting something like that. ...Don't go do it now just to be spiteful! Dick move.
